Phreneticus is a website owned and operated by Jenna Fletcher. I am a graduate student of the University of Georgia working on my master's degree in Science Education, and have recently completed a 1 year College Prep Biology teacher internship at Collins Hill High School in Suwannee, GA. I received my undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) from UGA in 2000 with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor equivalent in Environmental Health Science.
This is my second career, my first having been as a retail
manager and District Training manager in women's clothing for many years. I
have many hobbies including woodworking, painting, calligraphy, sewing, and
basically anything creative that does not involve cooking (I did not get the
cooking gene).
I love to stay busy, have lots of energy, both creative and intellectual, and am looking forward to many years of motivating others to get excited about science!
